Stop the Vines Before They Take Over

Invasive vines are one of the most damaging and most overlooked threats to a well-maintained property. They move quietly — climbing fences, scaling trees, wrapping around shrubs — and by the time most homeowners notice the problem, the vines have already established themselves deeply enough to cause real damage. English Ivy, Wild Grape, Oriental Bittersweet, and Porcelain Berry are among the most common offenders in the Cincinnati area, and all of them spread aggressively if left unchecked.

The damage they cause is significant. Vines climbing trees add enormous weight to the canopy, making trees more vulnerable to wind damage and storm failure.
